This is a show we are very proud of. Originally brought to us by our partner, Tim Small, we have toiled and travelled the red Earth of Western Australia to bring you yet another season of Desert Vet – aka Rick Fenny and his team (largely consisting of family) and vet clinics located in some of the most remote &amp; harshest locations on Earth. From wild animal encounters with the big and small, the gentle and the deadly, you’ll see Sharks &amp; Whale Sharks, Stingrays &amp; Stonefish, Dogs &amp; Cats, and everything in between including Chickens, Emus, Snakes, Kangaroos, Dingoes, Camels and even the Thorny Devil. Desert Vet brings you face to face with the people and animals of the West and the challenges they face each and every day.

Join Rick Fenny and his team (most of which are family) as we embark on Season Two on Channel Nine. This incredible series reached over 4.2 million viewers in Season One, as we follow the journey of the largest and wildest range of wild and domesticated animals ever seen in Australia. Respected cook, farmer, writer, entrepreneur, Mother &amp; member of a family business to one of Australia’s beloved restaurant establishments, Chat Thai, Palisa Anderson is many things to many people. But ask her what connects her heart to it all, and she will simply reply “real, good food”. 
The Thai cultural tenet she grew up being influenced by time and time again was the principle of Nahm Jai. The literal translation of this expression is ‘water heart’, though the significance of this beautiful sentiment is a mindfulness of how to live- generosity, compassion, empathy and awareness rolled in one. All those values that propel one to go into hospitality and service.
So while travelling back to Thailand is beyond reach, Palisa became curious to meet those in her community who embody this meaning &amp; whose unique approach to cooking could help keep alive that hunger for a familiar taste of home… 
From her farm in Byron Bay and its neighbouring salty enclaves, to the big smoke of Sydney and some of the city’s best Chefs, restaurants and out of town destinations, Palisa shares a very intimate exchange with some of her favourite food Industry icons and rising stars, exploring where their passion comes from and sharing food stories to discover we have more in common than we think.

At such a fragile and challenging time in the world, and with animal lovers being such a significant population in Australia, we thought we could work to create a brand new series that brought love and affection into your homes through captivating stories of homeless, rescued or relinquished animals in need of new families. 
We&#8217;re busy pulling the plan and finance together and we hope to have more announcements soon.

Jack approached us with a crazy idea to take a shipping container, fill it with fish &amp; chips, and take it around the world. So we said OK. But let’s do it with 10 of Britain’s most famous dishes, learn about the history of each one, and then travel to 10 different cities to meet a local chef and together with them, make a version of the dish that speaks to that city. Jack was keen and so the journey began. What could possibly go wrong?!

In this 2 hour special produced especially for SBS Food, self-made YouTube baking superstar Elise Strachan shows us that desserts have no divide &#8211; they are globally loved, culturally unique and just outright yummy!
Elise Strachan has her hands full. She’s a world famous YouTuber, cookbook writer and married mother of two. Her meteoric career as a social media star has taken her around the globe to witness first hand the trends in sweets and desserts we have come to love, and she’s built a loyal fanbase of millions who watch her create and re-imagine desserts with her own approachable yet vivacious style on YouTube.
Elise is curious to give viewers a first hand experience of the joy and pure ecstasy that can come from recreating desserts that are famous in their own regions across the globe, but are also gaining traction right here in Australia because of the people who are sharing their culture with curious customers, and living a truly &#8216;Sweet Life&#8217;!!

What is it about the concept of ‘sweet’ that has us so captivated? Why have desserts of all shapes and kinds led generations of us across the globe to guiltless indulgence? This show celebrates the answers.

Eat Australia was born out of the epic digital food/travel series we made in Mexico, Spain &amp; Portugal with Masterchef winner Andy Allen and finalist Ben Milbourne . Those adventures, the onscreen bromance of Andy &amp; Ben, and a hunger to travel this country and literally see (&amp; taste) what&#8217;s on its menu, drove the creation of a new 15 part TV series for SBS Food, its first ever local commission. We took the digital approach of &#8216;in the moment&#8217; to new levels and embraced mistakes with the mantra we&#8217;d rather people fall behind than fall asleep. It worked. It became SBS Food&#8217;s #1 show skewing 25-55 year olds and to this day we are still told by strangers and friends of friends that it&#8217;s the best food show they&#8217;ve ever seen. We&#8217;ve since made three more chapters, albeit short-form digital content, all of which can be watched on eataustralia.tv

Eat Australia broke all the rules of TV. And people love it. Its premiere season airing was watched by 2.5million Australians, and it became SBS Food's #1 show for 24-54 year olds.

We knew of Shane through the media reports over the years. As one of Australia&#8217;s and the World&#8217;s most powerful cyclists, due to some incidents he&#8217;d been cast as a bit of a hot-head and an outsider. So when we heard his own version of events, and how he almost walked away from the sport he loved, but was saved from an invitation to the secretive Japanese Keirin, we knew we had to tell his story. So with the help of Onitsuka Tiger, we soon found ourselves in Japan, pointing cameras at Shane as he trained in the remote jungles of Japan. 5 episodes were made for an international release on Cycling Tips and we also reformatted it into a half-hour documentary for SBS. It remains to this day one of our favourite ventures but what we were most proud of was to have given Shane the opportunity to tell his story.

Ryokou - meaning "Journey" in Japanese - was our first ever branded content documentary series. It tells the story of Australian cyclist Shane Perkins as he reflects on his life while training and competing in the secluded competition of the Keirin.
